Excellent! Love the new attitude in town.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Dang, I step out for a cup of coffee and MSU gets commits from two Trinity League studs. Thomas stands out against very good competition. I see his team has eight 3 or 4 star players on the roster. Most college teams don't have that.

He's on the smaller side of things, but kid knows how to tackle. Obviously very well coached.

He has legit good/great speed, can jump, and has decent instincts. Noticed he played inside a lot. I think that would be the preferred place for him here. Hard to have him and Cole on the outside. He's an ok returner, not much wiggle.

Pretty decent take. I think his best role is covering slot guys. Has quick feet, shuttles well, and can bang down in the flats.

Having Hale on the team didn't hurt in getting this one or any of the Trinity League guys.

Good stuff, but man he's small, I hope he can squeeze out another inch or two this year. That being said, man he's quick, reminds me of shawnjohn on his returns. His tackling and instincts are great, just hope he can grow a lil bit so he's not carried all over the field at this level. Still a good get I think.

Love CB's who can bring run support. Most of his early highlights are just that. Kid knows when to run though the ball carrier.

lig25: It isn't physical size, it's heart. MSU had a player by the name of Kevin Retoriano, who was 5-9, 175 when he came to MSU and left at 5-9, 187. Retoriano was a safety most of his career and earned first team all BSC as a junior, but switched to corner his senior year due to injuries at the corner position. Not only did he make the sacrifice and not only was he the best cornerback we had, but he was named second team all BSC at the end of the year. All that with a dislocated elbow and wearing and huge soft cast for several games. Heart baby, heart.

Good story about Retoriano here by Will Holden.

Kevin is now an attorney in San Diego, where he grew up.

Definitely a good point, and by no way did I mean that his size would contribute to what kind of player he is, but being a smaller guy myself I know the beating your body can take in this game.

Small CBs are okay in the Big Sky if they can make up for it with speed and physicality.

But you're right, most of the top guys in the league are 5'10 and up.

The kid is all over the field. Almost a pick 6, 2 pass breakups and a forced fumble. I think we may have won the lottery with this recruit
