A big congrats to Johnny D! From walk-on to full schollie in 3 years. Hard work always pays off.

That's pretty cool. I'm sure he had times of doubt but was mature enough to have great perspective and vision, and that can't be taught. Good job John.

Waded is always dressed to the nines, man she is on point every day!! MSU is lucky to have a president who understands what MSU sports means to average Joes like ourselves.

Congrats and awesome to see hard work being rewarded. I was hoping that letter was going to say that they just received a donation from Denny Washington and we were finally going to get a new East Side, North end zone and a brand new scoreboard. Some people don't know just how nice they got it.

Kind of a head scratcher to me that we're moving someone TO RB... we seem pretty deep and talented there already. We must be gearing up to run the crap out of the ball!

A kid with the size and speed of McCarthy at the Buck.....could be a game changer there. I can't wait to see what he can do.

Wow me neither. I read at one point that the best most instinctive player will be Buck. Period. This shows that McCarthy is doing really well which is a good sign. However something is bugging me about the 41. That's all I'll say about that.

As for Ojo, I think he's a very physical and pretty quick. There will probably be some packages for him at fullback and he will thump some skulls.

Something is bugging you about Grant Collins?

Sometimes I have the feeling Choate doesn't think he's found his guy yet. I thought by the RS sophomore year for a guy with this pedigree he would be doing the same type of domination in these scrimmages that Kidder is doing out west.

For the love if God man. Tell me I'm effing high. I really want to hear he's an all conference type guy this year.

To be fair it took Kidder three years to do good in the big sky and Collins is only in his third year of school or second year of playing technically. Kidder played as a true freshman so he technically has two years over Collins. He will be fine. Just because your dad played in the NFL doesn't mean you're kid will be great, and I actually think for the first time in my life science will back me up on this.

I have the same worries. There has been no discussion of number 41 this whole fall camp. Either he is so good that they can't even talk about him, or he has struggled and they are looking for someone else to bolster the position.

Is there a chance he isn't a great Buck end?? It seems he was a good linebacker last year, or at least on the verge of it. With all the position movements, if this is the case maybe he should move back

Yeah I guess when you battle off the Pac12 for a recruit you have pretty high expectations. In the third year in college, whether a true JR or RS Soph, I often see see kids really turn it on. He's old enough to establish himself as a guy this defense can count on to help this team to the next level and usher in a new era of dominate Bobcat defense.

Yeah I have concerns. Moving McCarthy over tells me they are still actively looking for a Buck (although great news about McCarthy). This is a personal mission of Gregorak and very important. I really hope I'm wrong about the 41.
