Best part to my ears is when he said his goal is to improve every week: to have us see a different team Nov 19 than we see Sept 1

That is a must have requirement

You know what I like about listening to Choate? He provides substance and valuable insight. He's seen the landscape of college football and has valuable insight. He doesn't give you a lot of canned answers. Refreshing actually.

Thanks Colter- both your posted interviews with him covered different topics - both interviews relavent.

Yeah... I think everyone has been getting a little tired of the team peaking in September... ](*,) Man, I am such a big fan of Choate, can't wait to see what he can do with the program.

   Decent interview overall, but Stitt always manages to say at least one thing that makes me roll my eyes. Kind of felt to me like he took a shot on MSU and Dakota when talking about the transfer rule... "Once a kid's a Griz they're a Griz, they're not going anywhere..."

Did he hear that from Dalton Daum, or one of the other myriad of players that have left his program during the offseason, or been forced out by Stitt? That guy is a gigantic douche.

Agree, but he was addressing the specific question about what he thought of the graduate transfer rule and he basically said it was all positive for the Griz because on one hand they can get high caliber FBS players to come to UM for their last year, and they won't ever lose any going to other way (like we did with Prukop) because it's such a privlege being a griz and players would never jump ship for their last year.

It may be as simple as him knowing he doesn't have any players that are smart enough to graduate in 3 1/2 years or less.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

After 10 hr phone interview he knows who he has playing for him.

He's had some interesting moments so far. His post-NDSU victory celebration(?), Gregorak situation/spin, Gustafson comment and now this. His lack of statements about players leaving/dismissed is strange too. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the Joey Counts DUI.
