Hotels in Moscow?

We have a group traveling to the game and would like to stay in the area that night . Any suggestions on Hotels? Has the location for the alumni pre game been set?

Rooms are tough to come by that weekend. Apparently there is also an event atWSU in Pullman. I would start with Moscow, then Pullman and then check Lewis or Clark if you have to.

I would recommend Smolenskaya Passage off of Arbat street as there are some great Georgian restaurants, as well as access to the underground metro system...and as a result the entire city!

Friends of mine in Idaho say that to go to a game there is tough. Especially the room part. What Idaho Fans don't take into account is that in order to fill the stadium there people have to travel too far to spend the night and it takes so much away from the game day experience that it is not worth attending. They were really in a catch 22 situation. They didn't draw any fans to their games, they couldn't win more than 2 games a year on average. So they had no fans, and no one want to travel to see a team gets beat 87 to 3. Even if they had started winning there is no places to stay. And with no places to stay no one wants to go. They can't build motels based on 5 or 6 weekends a year even if they could draw the fans.

Don't forget that they put the Idaho team up in a hotel for the game weekend so they don't get into trouble. Two teams in hotels in Moscow that takes about half the hotel rooms. Better try to stay in Spokane or come back to my ugly Missoula

Stay in Lewiston/Clarkston, Coeur D'Alene, Pullman, or stay in that casino on the golf course just a ways out of Coeur D'Alene. I personally would stay in Lewiston, and the trip to Moscow is nothing from Lewiston. If you do stay in Lewiston or Clarkston make sure you get a hotel on the river, there are some good ones there.

Lots of sororities on campus. You could see if one of them has room. But you probably wouldn't find out for sure you had a place to stay until say 2am after buying some drinks and such.

Oh man, when we went to the Washington State game we stayed in Moscow, and let me tell you they do have plenty of sororities and frat houses. We partied for three straight days and snuck into a few sorority parties and frat parties, one frat party in particular had sand in the entire house. They made the pledges cover the floor with plastic and brought in a whole ****** load of sand. I don't remember a lot of the trip other than we should have won the game in Pullman and the night life in Moscow was actually pretty fun, of course I was in college then so who knows how I would enjoy it now.

If you're into something different, Air BnB has 14 listings in Moscow those dates for up to 4 people, ranging from $60 to &185 per night. Include Pullman and surrounding area and there are over 40 available rentals, including some fun looking farm houses. Me and my wife have had good experiences with Air BnB around the world.

Well, when your 8 P.M. flight out of LA on a Friday gets cancelled and you get rebooked for the next afternoon, you take the first available hotel room you can get. The LAX Travelodge isn't exactly The Ritz... It's got a friggen Dennys attached to it. Low brow indeed.
