A loss for the Bobcat Family
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but I received word today letting me know that DeNarius McGhee's father, best known as Big Mike, passed away earlier this week. Our condolences go out to DeNarius and all of the friends and family.
I had the pleasure of meeting Big Mike a couple of times when he was in town for Bobcat games and I can honestly say he was one of the nicest and friendliest guys I've ever met. It sounds like a fund for donations is being set up for anyone that would like to donate, if I get the information I will update this post.

Very sorry to hear that. My prayers and best wishes to the family.
I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

Also sorry to hear. DM was one of my favorite Cats players for sure. Prayers for him and family.

Big Mike was at many a post game presser. Like DeNarius, he was quite the presence. Apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Re: A loss for the Bobcat Family
I never met Dmac's dad, but judging from the story, when he stopped to help people at that wreck the morning of cat/griz and then subsequently got injured while doing it, I think that says it all.
Terrible deal, and hope all is well after this loss for that family.
