Great choice! Love how she has MSU connections. What exactly does an associate AD do?
Could be a variety of things. According to its staff directory MSU currently has four people with the Associate AD title:

Dan Davies Senior Associate AD/Internal Operations
Camie Bechtold Senior Associate AD for Compliance/Student Services/SWA
Josh Wanago Associate AD of Development/Bobcat Club Director
Thijs Goossens Associate AD for Business Operations

So who is out?

None of them. She will serve as associate AD for marketing, a position that has been open since January.

So, with all the new additions at UM and now them wanting new turf, I am curious to see how long it takes us start any new additions to our stadium. Hopefully we will see things start changing soon.

Great to hear that he has a plan. The best part of the article was his comments on new facilities and what to do with the old ones. Re purposing is probably a huge money saver when it comes to new facilities and thinking on what to do with the old ones. Maybe when rolling out a plan for a new athletics facility that includes a weight room and study center the old weight room becomes something that non athletes can benefit from using. Excited to see his 5 year plan.

Good way to go about it. It's easy to list what we need or want. There is alot of infrastructure in the Brick to figure out what to do with.

Interview with Leon. https://network1sports.com/radioarchive ... 7-04AM.mp3

Mentioned that Western Illinois is scheduled. Didn't say what year.

It sure sounded to me like Western Illinois is next year. I assume without a return trip - so start at Wazzu, then South Dakota State, and WIU.... That's a heck of an OOC slate!

If true, that schedule is brutal, but necessary to build a championship caliber team. Iron sharpens iron, after all.
