Who are your top 5 redshirt freshman that will have the biggest impact on the team this next year? Whether it be offense, defense, or special teams.
-Sutton (great size for a receiver and good hands, also special teams player)
-Brott (super athletic for an o lineman, believe he played TE his junior year in high school)
-Stephons (just an all around athletic receiver, think he will be a good special teams player as well)
-Griffiths (might not play as much as I thought sense we just got 2 new DT transfers, but if he puts some weight on over the summer he should still see a decent amount of playing time)
-Konkol (ability to play both safety or linebacker, versatile athlete who I think will get reps on defense. Also expect him to play special teams)
-Could also say Tandberg considering he is our only kicker at the moment.
Tre'von Strong and Logan Jones didn't redshirt which is why they are not on this list.

Re: Redshirt Freshmen
I think you pretty much nailed it with these guys. Tough to argue for others, although I think Griffiths is a year or two out still. One guy who I would like to add in is Walker Cozzie. I've been hearing really good things about him. I believe he is the #2 MLB right now.
I think down the road Konkol will be a big time linebacker, and Mitch Brott is going to be a stud tackle . . . if not this year then next.

Yeah Josh Hill and Walker Cozzie both made the two deep out of spring ball as linebackers.Bozcat003 wrote:I think you pretty much nailed it with these guys. I would be surprised if Ferriter, Hill & Brandom didn't contribute a lot on special teams and wouldn't be shocked if any of them worked their way into rotations at some point.
