No. MSU put in 7,200 seats and whatever went with it for $10 million. $1,388 per seat, but who knows how the bells and whistles match up. There's probably others costs with the Texas stadium, like land, utility trunk lines, etc.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

A high school in McKinney, Texas has voted in favor of building the most expensive high school stadium in the country.

A board has moved forward with a bond that supports a $62.8 million, 12,000-seat high school football stadium.

Hopefully they do the foundation right this time. :) That other 70+ million dollar high school (Eagle Stadium) that was built was condemned like a year or 2 after it was built as the whole foundation was cracking and unstable. I am not sure if it has been fixed now or what but hopefully it has been for that amount of money! :)

The stadium in Allen has since been re-opened.

Depending on what they do the cost of putting in a new east grandstand would probably be about the same as the cost of the end zone project. The market isn't as good, but a lot of the infrastructure is in place. If they don't need to tear everything out and start over from scratch it could come in for about $12 million. It'll be interesting to hear more about Brennan's approach to getting these projects done.

Any guesses on how much just the basic concrete seating/stands in the SEZ cost?

If I remember correctly, the fundraising goal for the SEZ project was $10 million.

Yes, but that included new restrooms, new concession stands, new visitor locker rooms, and both scoreboards. Basically. I'm wondering how much it would cost just for the basic concrete stands on the east side. Nothing else what so ever.

Nope, Brennan could not/would not have gotten us there. He didn't have the chops to make it happen. Cooper Jones, should he come, will do it!

Did he or didn't he? We'll never know now. Though I agree with the sentiment that if he could flip this easily he wasn't all in for MSU and his performance would have suffered. But doesn't that mean that all is lost? Not a chance. Next man up and get one that wants to be here and wants to make a name for himself by completing the vision set forth.

The headline "Gianforte foundation donating $8 million to Montana State" had me thinking a good nest egg for Stadium remodel was in the works
Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Gianforte, through his family foundation, is donating $8 million to Montana State University in Bozeman over the next five years. The donation will create a $5 million endowment for the university's Computer Science Department. Under the agreement signed Wednesday, the department will be renamed the Gianforte School of Computing. Part of the gift is designated for the university's South Campus Project, so MSU has agreed a large classroom within the College of Engineering will be called the Gianforte Auditorium.
The Board of Regents must approve the re-naming. Gianforte founded RightNow Technologies in 1997. Oracle purchased the customer relations management software company for $1.8 billion in 2012. In March 2015, the Gianforte Family Trust donated $1 million to MSU's computer science program.

Still that's a good sign that there is a continued relationship with Mr Gianforte

It's also election year.
Good publicity for his campaign.
Quick, get him to match funds with another donor for the renaming of the stadium to the "O" , oracle.
