Who is your pick?
Who's your vote, and why?? (Allowed revoting since we still need to hear Costello talk)

Tough to choose between Brennan and Jones because the facility upgrades at both places are amazing. I would choose Jones though because although Utah is on the up and up ASU is still a higher profile school and he did a lot for several different programs.

I don't think we can go wrong with any of them so far. My first choice so far is Jones simply for his track record of successful fund raising at several different places with varied levels of support. He's also a very eloquent speaker, which is a welcome change from where we are currently.

That stood out to me as well, when speaking to the media Thursday night he did not use any note cards or script and it just flowed for 10 straight minutes, he is a natural at fund-raising and public speaking.91catAlum wrote:I don't think we can go wrong with any of them so far. Curious to see what kind of salary we are offering and who would be taking considerably less money to become the MSU AD. I would have to imagine everyone but Costello would take at least some sort of a step back in pay.

Jones.
Starting salary of $165,000 and huge incentive package. Including beating griz incentives, and potentially fundraising goals

I like Spears better. I have no idea why but Brennan didn't impress me. Nor did the Wyoming guy.Bozcat003 wrote:I'm honestly torn between Brennan and Spears
I'm sure they are super good dudes and great at their jobs I just wasn't super impressed.

I voted for Brennan - went with more impressive resume.BigBruceBaker wrote:I like Spears better. I have no idea why but Brennan didn't impress me. Nor did the Wyoming guy.Bozcat003 wrote:I'm honestly torn between Brennan and Spears

Jones was the guy who didn't impress me for some odd reason. All very good candidate - excited to see who they go with.
I think Brennan was MSU's 1st choice (Colter would know better), but for some reason he has that 'it' factor for me

It's hard to pick between Jones, Brennan, and Costello. They're all very good.
