I get the feeling that MSU, Portland State, and NAU will be at the top of the conference.
Obviously he meant UM, since we only recruit Naia talent...[/quote

UM will continue to do what they have done the last five years - be mediocre to fairly good- but wildly inconsistent. Stitt doesn't strike me as a strong leader for that team. UM can't afford to have a mediocre football program. Football is all they've got to hang their hats on. They have put all their eggs in one basket with athletics. You think the school could attract more students and be the focal point in itself. They have a pretty campus in a cool/picturesque city. You don't think of their honors college or their MBA program- which are truly bright spots for them. If UM were a stock - they'd be a risky buy.

Let's be honest UM has owned us the last three years, so I'm not about to say they are inconsistent. Then put their last thirty years of football out there and no one has done what they have done in the big sky. As much as I hate them, I don't think I would ever criticize what they have done in football. Maybe we should put our eggs in one basket if it means it will bring the success they have had on the grid iron. I don't like the institution or the town of Missoula and what a lot of stands for, but common we can't criticize their football program with the success they have had.

They certainly have beaten the crap out of us consistently, but have had their share of head scratchers. They use to be much more dominant.

I'll get this front page updated eventually with our:

- first two commits
- list of offers (per twitter)
- list of offers who have committed elsewhere

The layout you did for last year's recruits was upper tier.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

David Hann is a 6'0", 270 lb. offensive lineman out of Missoula Big Sky. Projects as a guard or center. Played left tackle his junior year. Finishes blocks well. Footwork needs improvement. One of the better lineman in AA going into his senior year. However, it is a weak class of offensive lineman this year meaning not many project to the FCS level. David should get some interest because he has some decent tape but right now I'm saying he is NAIA.

They also picked up DE Lane Tucker from Wyoming today . . . held offer from Wyoming, MSU + others . . .

Bolded players held offers from MSU . . . I don't know how we can out recruit those guys right now . . . get us some new facilities and a few conference championships and we could.

If we had that, we wouldn't have to worry about out-recruiting ndsu. It's the "chicken or the egg" thing.

I know this is a touchy subject with strong emotions and I am not trying to be a jerk but have a serious question. NDSU has one of the best atmospheres in college football. Do they allow re-entry? Also, do they sell beer?

https://twitter.com/SkylineSportsMT/status/754778210487775232 Jacob Helton is the third verbal and he is from Lenoir City, TN. His hudl highlights don't really show much. I think he played some QB, RB, WR, OLB, and Safety but I will pay attention to his senior year. May be recruiting him as a receiver or safety...or another QB? I don't know. This must be a Courtney Messingham recruit if we got a kid out of TN.

I have my doubts on that one.
No coaches following him?
No #BOOM?
HUDL is mostly JV?

Yeah exactly. The no coaches following him thing is odd...(and there are still no coaches following him). There was no commitment "boom" and he will only be starting to play varsity his senior season. Plus, he is 5'11", 170 lbs. so I don't know. Colter follows him now so he probably knows more. All I'm saying is that coaches nowadays always follow there recruits if that recruit has a twitter.
