Hopefully Chapman and Alley are backing up Garcia on every flyball, to compensate for his terrible anglesHawks86 wrote:https://twitter.com/Coach_Hout/status/877552487082770433

Parker confirms DE/OLB Sal Aguilar's status here as well.

Getting Sal as a PWO is an absolute steal in my opinion. He is a pass-rushing prospect MSU has been dying to recruit for a while. He is a tweener at 6'1", 210 lbs. but he shows all the traits of a pass-rushing DE/OLB off the edge. Also comes from a great football program. Get him up to 240-245 where Daly & Schriebies were at their junior and senior seasons. Hopefully the coaching staff can get this kid to develop. Out of all the offseason additions post-signing day, this is my favorite one so far and he's only a walk-on.

Re: 2017 MSU Recruiting (31 Commits)
Vim, what is our history of success with out of state walk-ons? It seems every year or two we get some PWO from out of state, who looks like a steal, but they don't seem to last more than a few years in the program. I'm sure I'm missing someone who was successful? Cole Moore maybe?VimSince03 wrote:Parker confirms DE/OLB Sal Aguilar's status here as well. https://twitter.com/pgabriel15/status/877925721024348161 Getting Sal as a PWO is an absolute steal in my opinion. I know James Campbell is in town. He hit a grand salami in the softball game.

Re: 2017 MSU Recruiting (32 Commits)
So if you guys are paying attention to the "Montana Recruits 2018" thread, former Whitefish High School QB Luke May (Class of 2016) will possibly be walking on to the Bobcats this fall once school starts. He wants to compete at QB. Its evident he wanted to get his name back out their for football as he posted his best high school highlights on his HUDL profile on March 7, 2017. Luke threw the javelin for the University of Minnesota this past school year so he should still have four years to play four if he makes the team. Here is his highlight tape:
As you can see, he is dynamite outside the pocket and he moves the chains. You won't see many big highlights coming from the pocket which is the main reason I didn't rank Luke higher than Dane Warp (current Carroll College basketball player) out of high school in 2016. However, Luke is a playmaker, has a big arm, and is a very instinctive athlete. If he doesn't make it as a QB, he can definitely develop at safety. He had two monster interceptions against Troy Andersen in the 2015 Class A State Title game where Whitefish won the title for the first time in 36 years. He dominated the 2016 all-star circuit between the Badlands Bowl and Shrine Game before going to Minnesota. For a reminder of who he is as a player and leader, read this article: http://www.dailyinterlake.com/archive/a ... a3232.html.

Re: 2017 MSU Recruiting (32 Commits)
Luke May has changed his mind. He will be coming to Bozeman to playing football for Montana State. Coming in to play QB. That's a great get for us and a 180 in 24 hours.

Yesterday you were sure it was the Griz.... Sounds like Mr. May hasn't quite made up his mind not sure it sounds definitive to say done deal.PHAT CAT wrote:It's a done deal. He's coming to Bozeman.TomCat88 wrote:From AJ Mazzolni Twitter:
