Kolone came to MSU as a freshman. Then I believe he went on a mission. Then he transferred to Arizona State, not the other way around.seataccat wrote:Thank you, he and Reyshawn Bobo were very much impact transfers imho.CatBlitz wrote:Chris Koloneseataccat wrote:Who was the big DT that was very good that we got from U of A? he had an injured knee at the end of his career. You're thinking of Will Kofe, not Chris Kolone.HelenaCat wrote:Kolone came to MSU as a freshman. Then I believe he went on a mission. Again, I would argue that Joey Thomas had an even bigger impact on that game then junior Adams. Completely shut down the receivers and helped force john edwards into throwing the worst game of his career. He was like 2 for 20 passing, or something horrible like that.

Michael Beach was a really good corner transfer for us too, I believe he also came from U of Arizona.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: Best Transfer
He was fun to watch. Could really zing it, and accurately. Jefferson was a great target of his. Kramer waited to long to start Jack. Only time I wished an injury on our starting QB (Carpenter) because I knew that was the only way Jack would play, much less start. He was clearly better. I never understood why it wasn't clear to Kramer, and then again with Ash.wbtfg wrote:Don't forget rolovich....he led us to a playoff win.

How many times did Carp skip a pass to his receivers? So frustrating sometimes.
