Parker should be in the conversation. Did great work at MSU and Carrol. Currently at Rocky where they have recently announced a big money project on there football stadium.

Dan Davies (experienced)
Josh Wanago (fund raiser, young)
Calli Sanders (highly experienced at higher levels, ties to Montana and MSU)
Drew Ingraham (young, ties to MSU)
Bruce Parker (experienced, ties to MSU)
Rob Ash
PF came in when the finances were a wreck and fixed that. Now we need someone who can raise money and has incredible PR skills to continue the upward trajectory.
I have no real clue on who would do the best, but I thought it would be worth starting to toss names around for discussion.
My vote would be for Calli Sanders or Rob Ash.
No way Wanago or Ash should be in the conversation...
I would think Parker is worth being in the conversation.
Agree.
Wanago is good guy but young. Ash, really. Get back on your meds.
Parker well liked well here and good job at Carroll.

Let's not forget Wanago is the guy who made us all join the Bobcat Club for tailgating. I for one won't be voting for him in the Bozeman Caucus. ...or do we have a primary? ???

I'm also surprised that Fields would be allowed to oversee the coach search or that he was able to let Ash go considering this was in the works.

Wanago and Ingraham worked together for a bunch of years at MSU
I read Ingraham was recently promoted at Univ. of New Mexico

I don't understand the fixation with Rob Ash. What makes anyone think he would be a great AD? He couldn't make the hard decisions with his coaching staff so why does anyone think he could as an AD?
Best of luck to him but we don't need him. And can do better.

As had already been posted, Wanago is a great guy. Very personable and very professional. Whether or not he's interested I the job would and should be for him to decide to apply. Not a bunch a$$hats that whine because he worked with this guy of not that guy. For crap sake, BN has become extremely egriz-like in the past year.
Sure I'd love to see Wanago with the gig but if not, let's get outside the establishment and bring in someone that has a backbone and credibility on a national scale. Can MSU pull that off? I don't know, but the next several weeks should be entertaining with all the speculation, mostly unfounded at that.

It's gonna be a Cruzado pairing, and probably a good thing seeing what she's accomplished -- I think we leave it to her to bring in someone she gets excited about

I say we go outside the establishment. There has to be some really good applicants out there that will be interested in this spot. I bet Cruzado has some really good connections, and has a few names she is looking into.. So far she has done amazing work for MSU. No reason to think she will falter on this one.. I have all the ConfidenConfidence in the world she will make a great decision
