Surprised they let him hire a new coach. Most AD's like to have "their" coach.

Would've made more sense to fire Fields and Ash IMO. Also would've cost more money.

Confirmed with the President's office.

Hope we can hire a great one. So now everybody needs to start putting in their suggestions for hot up and coming or grizzled veteran ADs that are in MSU's price range. Should be a lively discussion. :D

I was just going to post almost the same thing. Amazing how predictable some things are!

Bring in Ash!!! Fields was a lame duck AD, so even with no experience I believe Ash could do this job. :D Besides I like Ash as a person and many around the state respect him, so its worth a shot in the dark isn't it?

I am joking, but I do want to know where you can get an application form. Are the forms online?

Thanks your spot on as usual. I figured I better edit so people like yourself wouldn't take it to seriously. Jesus!

The action is fine by me but not sure I like the timing right before signing day but oh well. This is a ground hog day to remember Cat fans.
Did this happen because the ground hog did or didn't see his shadow in Bozeman? Doesn't really matter, the important thing is that the cold dark shadow of Peter Fields will soon no longer be cast upon Bobcat athletics.
Brighter days are coming our way Bobcat fans. Count on it.

It's more because you're not the first person to suggest this. And it's stupid. And you should learn the difference between your and you're.
