Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Unfortunately faxes are still a big part of the business world.

only from those still living in the 20th century.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

We send off 2-5 faxes a week and get 1-2 a week here. But really most of our documents are scanned and emailed. I do get surprised when people ask me to "fax it to them."

I had a fax machine in my office until a few months ago.
Scan and email is so much easier.

They are more secure than the internet, hence the reason insurance companies all have them.

Sorry I haven't added Kamden Brown yet guys. I know he is basically official but I know there will be a few other PWO's so I'm waiting...

We are the biggest accounting firm in MT, and we use fax machines like crazy. They are way more secure compared to portals or emails. That's just fact.allcat wrote:They are more secure than the internet, hence the reason insurance companies all have them.

Sitting on the phone all morning for conference calls, figured I might as well watch film on all our commits one more time. Why wouldn't I? Anyway, do we have an idea on what Kirk's 40 time was? Watching Opland's film has got me really excited, he does remind me of Kirk a lot (someone mentioned that earlier), he keeps his legs churning upon and after impact, sheds arm tackles with ease, but his breakaway speed seems quite a bit better than Kirk's. I am thrilled with Sean and even though he is a stud LB as well, it would be a mistake to take him out of the backfield.

Sean is much faster than Kirk out of high school. Cody increased his speed with hard work throughout his career. Sean ran a 49.49 400m dash last year at State B. That is ridiculous for a kid that weighs 200 lbs.RobertCats wrote:Sitting on the phone all morning for conference calls, figured I might as well watch film on all our commits one more time. That is what I thought. I LOVED Kirk too! Man, talk about a good 1-2 punch with Opland and Pegues several years down the road, even more exciting with Choate wanting to employ a downhill running game!!VimSince03 wrote:Sean is much faster than Kirk out of high school. Has anyone watched the PWO QB Kamden Brown's film yet? I haven't seen one thing that I don't like. Seems to have good footwork, quick release, pretty accurate and fairly mobile in the pocket as well. 70% completion and 31 td's vs. 8 picks his senior year. Pretty surprised he didn't get a scholarship offer somewhere, but maybe I'm missing something.

Watching that first play as the qb miffs the snap...and then keeps running back...and back, I'm thinking " this is a terrible start for a highlight tape" But he wasn't the qb that play.

Potential new PWO? Matt Miller and BJ Robertson recently started to follow Luke Channer, a 6'4", 280 lb offensive guard from Corvallis, MT. Luke also follows all our coaches. He is a two time all-conference offensive guard (1st team in 2015 and 2nd team in 2014) out of the Southwestern A conference. Here is what I wrote about him for the Shrine Game Breakdowns:
His film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4025019/luke-channer
Maybe Colter can confirm with him on twitter. Like any PWO, Luke shows potential on film. Today, he took 4th place at State A wrestling as a heavyweight so the boy can wrestle...which is never a bad thing for an offensive lineman. He also carries a 4.0 GPA.Luke played guard for Corvallis. He added more weight prior to his senior season and he moves well for a big man at 280. He has a good release off the line and gets into defenders quickly, shooting his hands. He also does a good job of finishing his blocks. He takes good angles to get his defender turned. Luke does have position flexibility which is key for lineman. Luke has the tools and I'm interested to see how what happens to him or if he decides to play football. From what I see on tape, he has the ability to be a good college lineman. The only lineman that I was surprised he wasn't part of the selections.

By the way, I feel we got very good value with both of our confirmed out-of-state PWOs. Kamden Brown was a two time first team All-CIF QB for the Central division the past two seasons and that is a very competitive division. We definitely should not have to worry about QB depth for a while with Bruggman, Hoy, Murray, Brown, Folsom, and McChesney. I think Folsom should move to safety, not because he is not good enough at QB but because he was a really good safety in high school. McChesney will have an uphill battle to make the roster in my mind. I feel the QB battle will be a two person race between Bruggman and Hoy. Can't wait for spring ball!
