Coin Flip??

I don't want to beat a dead horse. The "D" is exposed.
Here's my theory.
Our offense can put the points up, so hear me out.
If the CATS win the coin toss, don't defer.
Take the ball and step on the gas!
Score first!

Maybe the "D" will get the kinks out knowing that they have the lead?

Just an idea...........................

Worked for Cal Poly and you saw what happened in Flagstaff.

I agree. When you have a good offense, and a terrible defense, I think you should go on offense first every time. Or how about trying an onside kick on the opening kickoff? Ash has onside kicked a lot this season in the 4th quarter. How about trying one at the beginning of the game, when they're not expecting it. The success rate for onside kicks is much, much greater, when it takes the other team by surprise.
