Cats: 35
NAU: 31

I think this will be a close game just because NAU is tough at home. Our offense won't be on fire but will work its way to a 21-17 halftime lead. Defense makes adjustments and we go up 35-17 heading into 4th qtr. The Jacks of Lumber make a late rally with two passing tds to make the score look interesting.

Offensive predictions:

Dakota goes for 300/100 pass/run ratio for 3 passing tds
Sandland catches another TD
Justin Paige catches a deep TD
Gunnar Brekke gets a reception TD
Newell scores two rushing TDs
JP Flynn hurts somebody

Defensive predictions:

We give up over 350 yds passing but tighten up in the redzone when needed
Force three turnovers (2 ints and 1 FF + recovery)
5 sacks
The linebackers have a day (they get the 2 ints)

I hope Paige gets going again- he hasn't had a catch the last 2 games, which is pretty crazy... I can't even remember him being targeted.

Ya, has he been hurt or something?? I expected to see him make big strides this year after all the hype from coaches about him being the most improved player last spring.

Not to jinx things...but I'm starting to feel optimistic about these guys...seems the Cal Poly game was an "inflection point" in that it seems like we've gotten over the "hump". This may be a special year. Defense just needs to keep the opponents under 40....and we'll win.

MSU 42
NAU 28

Go Cats!!

I just want to see the Defense continue to show improvement from game to game, and I will be happy. The Cats need to learn how to PEAK in November.

as for the score...

No idea what our defense will hold them to, but our offense has pretty much looked unstoppable these last two games (dare I say scary good). Cats 45, NAU 35

Looking forward to being in the walk up dome to see our Bobcats beat the L out of the umberjacks.

Not really sure what to think of the pass defense yet. EWU isn't a real good indicator, and the CP receptions can somewhat be forgiven seeing the team runs 95% of the time.

That said, I think offense slows down a tick, defense gives up some yards. Let's see how the Cats do on the road..... MSU 38 NAU 24

50-19

NAU with 2 FG and a missed Extra Pt.

Cats offense unstoppable again and Bleskin plays 4th quarter.
