Troy was victorious. Sean is an animal and is putting in one of the better seasons in any class of Montana football.

Jered Padmos from Jefferson verballed as a punter.
Jered Padmos is an athlete.
He’s on the golf team. He’s on the basketball team. But where he really shines is on the football field -- where he plays offense, defense and special teams for the Jefferson Panthers.
And, on Saturday, the senior received and accepted an offer to punt for Montana State University.
“Since I was little I’ve wanted to play for the Cats,” he said from Bozeman as MSU took on Sac State. “My family has had season tickets for the Cats since I was in fourth grade. I grew up watching Bobcat games every Saturday during the fall. And having a coach recruit me that I used to watch play for the Cats -- Mike Rider -- was awesome.”
Padmos’ Panthers are rolling this season, losing only to state power Fairfield. Every other game has been a rout, including the 41-16 blowout of rival Townsend on Friday night. And the senior has been a huge part of that, playing as not only punter but also as quarterback and safety.
“He’s almost a touchback every time,” Jefferson coach Clint Layng said. “Having a team start on the 20 every time is huge. And last night, he had a punt from the back of our end zone to about their 30-yard line. He’s kicked three field goals this year from 40-plus yards, too, he’s had an excellent year at safety for us, and has really been playing well at quarterback in the last few weeks.”
Padmos was also getting serious interest from Washington State, and had planned to go on a recruiting trip to Pullman next week. He hadn’t received any other offers before MSU’s came in on Saturday, but Carroll and Western were also both showing real interest, he said, as was Dickinson State.

Sean Opland - 21 carries, 211 yds, 4 TDs, 3-6 passing, 58 yds, 1 TD - 13 Tkls, 9 solo, 1 int, 2 PD.
Figure I would include Punt return yardage. Don't normally and most teams don't kick to him. 4 returns for 75 yds. Kick offs, teams just kick the ball out of bounds every time.
