I would like to see Weidenaar simply because he's been a four year starter.
I don't know his personality, however four years starting represent a work habit that should carry some weight.

My personal favorite player to watch has been Chad Newell for the last two years. But maybe position should be left for a qb or senior?

Griebel and Sheridan are definitely up there.

Several more good choices as well that I'll leave blank for now.

In years past, wouldn't there be 2 defense and 2 offense. Not that it really matters. These guys are leaders and have worked their tails off the get to that position.

No, I don't believe so. Perhaps it may usually be an even split because since the players vote on this and the players are pretty evenly split between O and D - but as TS pointed out, he was glad it didn't end up being four players on O and zero players on D.

Right, not a lot of options on defense since 9 starters graduated, whereas 9 offensive starters are still here from last year. Lots more offensive voting options.

You are correct about last year Ione said that instead of the top vote getters Ash said they would take two from offense and two from defense.
