That's called a "flip." Was committed to UM, de-committed, then committed to MSU. Unless there is some semantic rule that says you can't de-commit from one school before committing to another.

Let me put it this way, Brandom de-committed after talking with coaches and pretty much being told they no longer wanted him, Daum "flipped" because he wanted to be a Grizzly.

Hopefully Brandom uses his apparent rejection by Stitt as extra motivation. Seems like an odd thing for a fan to be bragging about, though, and it doesn't dismiss that Woody "flipped" his commitment. Unless you're saying the Griz pulled his offer, of course, but that's not what I've heard.

Papa, you can believe what you want, but all parties agreed that Woody was not a fit for the new Griz offense and the separation was mutually agreed upon. I am also not bragging about anything, just relaying the facts. Believe me, I think Woody is a great get by whomever signs him and it is too bad it did not work out for him in Missoula.

No, I get it. The Griz are awesome. Understood. That's not inferiority. UM is just so awesome, all we can do is to bow down to the Griz, because they don't need 3* TEs, and then trash the kid when he talks about what happened from his point of view.

Unless they convert to OL, I guess. Not a lot of need for pass catching TEs in a fly-sweep offense. Speedy WRs who can stretch the field help, although blocking TEs to set the edge are helpful. Put 40 more pounds on the TEs and have them block away!

I'm amazed at how sold UM fans seem to be on Stitt. I just don't see it working unless he adjusts his offense majorly.
