SLO weather report

Post by [cat_bracket] » Thu Oct 30, 2014 8:54 am

Rain and lots of it in Friday. Tapering off on Saturday, but playing on grass could mean a saturated surface. The high is only 64, so we avoid the heat. Not sure who the weather favors, but it looks like it'll be a factor. Windy too at 15 mph out of the west.

doesn't look too bad to me, the rain should be over by then, they have a tight cut Bermuda grass field, Bermuda grass grows best in a sandy soil so I think it will drain well. winds around 10 mph isn't much, and a relatively cool evening, should be good conditions for football.

I did notice on BigSky TV the field looked a bit tore up last weekend.

Don't think it favors either team, though.

Looks like heavy rain all night and into the morning then tapering all tomorrow with sunshine at kickoff.
