couple things to watch for this weekend:

Prukop- can become only the 4th Bobcat QB to eclipse 3,000 total yards in a season, needs 313 total yards this wkd.

Shawn Johnson- Needs 55 yards to become the Bobcats All Time leader in All Purpose Yards... =D^ impressive!

mslacatfan - I love this thread and all the work you do in it every week, but I just want to add one win to our overall record, which stands at 480, this week. Let's break that record!

updated with cal poly-

The Sunday Notebook release had a different all purpose yards/career number for Shawn John than I had, so I used that one.

Anyone else notice that Prukop has not scored a touchdown, rushing or passing, in the last 2 games.........

I am impressed with the passing percentage, and he's a sophomore. I do see that McGhee also was quite high in that category. Is this Ash/offensive scheme related? Or simply a stat indicating two great quarterbacks in a row?

A stat indicative of the evolution of spread offenses, the triple option and the advantages given to offenses in general.

42 different FCS quarterbacks, including eight starters in the Big Sky are completing 60 percent of their passes this season. That said, Prukop is sixth in the country and anything over 67 percent is elite regardless of offensive evolutions.

updated the All time All purpose yards. According to Colter Nuanez, Shawn John broke the record!

Good for him! I sure hope he can make it back this year, but if not, to say he owns that record is an amazing accomplishment!

Don't have access to the MSU records, but looked at Wikipedia and found this for NCAA.

Most passes intercepted, game[edit]
FBS: 9 – John Reaves, Florida vs. Auburn, Nov. 1, 1969[1]
FCS: 7 – Dan Crowley, Towson vs. Maine, Nov. 16, 1991; Carlton Jenkins, Mississippi Valley vs. Prairie View, Oct. 31, 1987; Charles Hebert, Southeastern Louisiana vs. Northwestern State, Nov. 12, 1983; Mick Spoon, Idaho State vs. Montana, Oct. 21, 1978[15]

updated-

some impressive numbers put up this year, that's for sure. Safe to say Prukop would have broke the Total Offense in a Season record had he not been injured.

Yes, just think about Pru and a full season. Also what Johnson could have added. WOW. Not to mention that Knight's numbers would/could surely have been better.
