One top 10 list I could not find, Total touchdowns by QB in a season? I'm assuming Dakota has to be close with 22. Can someone find the list and i will add it?

Does everyone really understand what we have been seeing from Dakota Prukop? Just how ridiculous this kid has been?

These stats reflect this perfectly. He is 1 rushing TD away from being on the top 10 single season rushing list, predominantly littered with RB's. He has done this with only 6 games into the season.

What makes this even more remarkable is that he finds himself only 2 passing TD's and only 50 yards short of breaking onto both of the passing lists.

Obviously we will begin facing some stronger defenses, but this has been quite a ride by this kid.

Cal Poly Coach Tim Walsh won 65 games at PSU from the time they joined the BSC in 1996 until he left to join the staff at West Point in 2006. Since returning to the BSC in 2009 he has won 32 more through 2013 giving him 97 wins to that point. He's won two more this year and stands at 99.

Actually he has 82. From 2009-11 Poly was in the Great West.

Prukop could very well top the scoring and the touchdowns records at his pace. Dang good stats.

I wonder how many schools have a guy on both the top ten lists for rushing and passing TD's in a single season. And Prukop has a chance to make the top ten scoring for a season. This is one special year and its not even half way yet. We may see Prukop and Knight make the top ten for rushing TD's in the same season.

This offense is insane compared to others at MSU. We have always been a defense school first with a so so to average offense. This year its the opposite. I hope we can keep Cramsey for a few years

updated with All purpose yards in a game- Top 2 in the same season, pretty crazy!

Can anyone find me the top 10 list for Total Touchdowns by QB in a season???? Prukop has to already be in the top 10 I would imagine.

I'm going to go through a bunch of old box scores this summer and compile some other lists, such as records for a half. I'll do that one for total TDs, too. I think McGhee had 29 (24 pass/5 rush) twice. Bradley had 30 passing TDs in '84, so he's probably the leader. Getting the top ten will take some digging. Prukop, with 28, is apt to move into first against WSU.

Tom-

Also, could you confirm Shawn Johnsons Career All Purpose Yards number? I currently have it at 4,000? However, Colter had a different number than me the other day in one of his articles...

Looks like Shawn Johnson is now second in all-purpose yards. He had 187. Only needs about 50 more to catch Ryan Johnson.

Should have taken the lead this last game. Yet another return TD called back. He has more of those than anyone I can remember.

I also appreciate you taking the time to update this list. Very impressive QB.

I am curious if playoff statistics are included in yearly totals/records. Can you confirm? Thanks!!!

They started including playoff stats somewhere are the year 2000... ish. Guys like Dave Dickinson's career stats (for example) only reflect regular season games

So once they started including playoff stats, why couldn't/didn't they go back and add in the playoff numbers for the players who played prior to that? It doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to do that, and it would make it much more valid when comparing career stats for players from different eras.

It doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to do that, and it would make it much more valid when comparing career stats for players from different eras.
no idea. probably just a matter of whoever is in charge not wanting to put in some extra work...
