Weekly Prediction Thread: Week 6 at Sac State

Post by coachouert » Tue Sep 30, 2014 2:04 pm

Greetings from Gillette, Wyoming. Yep, you're jealous and I can smell it from here. Week 5 is in the books and the Bobcats hit the road. My liver and cat_stache_fever are both grateful for a break from home games for a bit. After week 5 and what I would call an ugly win over UND Who's, we have a new leader as Devlan has edged out luckyirishguy25 by just three points. We also continue to see one of our esteemed mods, rtb, barely hang around and continually slip down the leader board. Still lots of season left though.

As always, go to http://bobcatnation.com/coachschallenge" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and submit your picks no later than one hour before kickoff. Remember that the Cats are the road team this week so you will put the score for the Cats in FIRST. Once you have made your pick, come on back here and discuss. Good luck and Go Cats!

My Prediction:
Cats 34
Saco State 27

I'm not sold on the defense yet so I'm hoping this will be the week they surprise me. I might also be low balling the offense a bit.

Side prediction: I wake up way less hungover on Sunday than I have the previous four Sundays. cat_stache_fever doesn't drunkenly decide the sky is falling. He will still enjoy Nickelback and Justin Bieber when he wakes up Sunday...schmuck.

I've got MSU winning 37-31, although I'd sure like to think that we'll be able to beat them worse than ISU did last Saturday. I just can't believe that they're really 20 points worse than the Bengals though, and i'd think that they'll be pretty motivated to prove to their home crowd that they're better than they showed last time out.

Surprise, surprise from the pessimist.

Let's watch the game together, dingus. No jello shots or beergaritas.
