On the surface, no, but I don't know him personally.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Meh. If a Griz fan is reffing a MSU-EWU game, I doubt they want either team to win.

Fair enough, but it really looked like prokup had the 1st down. Game over, maybe?

It was close. They missed holds all day, spots, out of bounds calls...On both sides.Mechanical Cat wrote:Fair enough, but it really looked like prokup had the 1st down. Game over, maybe?

I wouldn't worry about his allegiances to anything, aside from a well officiated game.

Game over, no way with EWU's offense. Even at 3rd and inches, MSU should have been able to gain six inches on two plays to get the first down.Mechanical Cat wrote:Fair enough, but it really looked like prokup had the 1st down. Game over, maybe?

Does he get to officiate any Griz games ever? That must be exciting.grizband wrote:I wouldn't worry about his allegiances to anything, aside from a well officiated game.

don't care as long this individual does a better job than our current refs.

I don't know many refs now. But I knew a few years ago there was at least one ref who was a cat fan and he officiated both cat and griz games. I never felt he was any more or less competent than any of the other officials on his crew when he did griz games.

It should not matter. But if he is making errors in calls than you cant help but wonder. But as bad as the home refs have been the last two weeks the no "fans" might not be any better. The refs as a hole need to up their game and instant replay would sure help in some of these obvious calls (Central Ark touchdown after player was down, at least one of the fumbles looked like it was caused by the ground (don't remember who was carrying) spotting of the ball on more than one occasion for both teams.

There have been a number of times the last two weeks I totally agreed with this.catgrad05 wrote:It should not matter. But if he is making errors in calls than you cant help but wonder. There is also an ex-Cat player that refs a lot of Griz games. I don't think it really matters.
