Sorry... I re read my last post and I sounded pretty condescending there. Didn't mean to be.
It's always tough to predict what's going to happen when we jump up and play FBS teams. I didn't expect us to pretty much dominate WSU and SMU for the majority of those two games... and then lose by one point. I also didn't expect the beat down we took playing K State. I do think we're going to compete pretty well on Saturday however. Here's to hoping I'm right!
No big. I always aim low and hopefully, pleasantly surprised. We are breaking in a brand new QB and pretty dang new center. That is a pretty critical set of players. I am as hopeful and excited about the Bobcats talent this year, but I think any of these teams down near the SEC play SUPER fast. The recruiting base is ridiculous compared to any team west of the Mississippi. Guys that have serious speed at every single position. If we hang with these guys, I think its a win. If we actually were to win this game, I think we could have serious shot at the BCS and deep playoffs.
We'll have a tough time winning even if we're at the top of our game and they play poorly.
Mostly I want to win, but after that I'm looking for focus and discipline, which equates to low turnovers and low penalties. We don't need to march all over the field, but we need to be able to sustain some drives. We don't need to shut them out, but we need to force a handful of punts. Asu is good. Better than the SMU, utah, Wazzu teams we've played.
Better than Utah? NO WAY. This team went, what 8-5 last year? Utah was a way better team when we played them hands down.
I agree ASU is a good team but they are still in one of the, if not THE, weakest conference in FBS.
I love the Bobcats and the Miami Hurricanes an unhealthy level

Stating the obvious: ASU in general has more speed than we do. If we can take that advantage away, create a couple turnovers, and control the ball, taking our shots as we've done against earlier FBS opponents, I really like our chances. Hopefully Dakota and company can get up to speed quickly.
Is it GAME DAY yet! GO CATS!

What's the name of the website where you can track the team plane, I know someone had it on here last year. Seeing when the team left and arrived at their destination last year was almost as exciting as the games!! I hope they aren't using Allegiant this year.
If your left, you aren’t right.

That's the site. For the Cats you can usually find it even without the number just by searching for flights to the destination airport from Bozeman since we don't have directs to most of the places.

Looks like that site now redirects to Orbitz.com. When I just Googled "flight tracker", Flightaware.com is the site that came up.

The Chronicle said they aren't using Allegiant this but it wasn't released what they are using now.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

True enough, I think the cats had a case of the jitters on the first series. I suppose that can be expected on the road first game of the year.
