1956 National Championship Game Day Program

Post by A-Frame » Wed Aug 20, 2014 1:02 pm

So, I fancy myself a bit of a picker. Basically I buy and sell a lot of stuff in different places. I've always got my eye out for any and all Bobcat stuff. But there is always only one transaction with any MSU stuff. I buy it, but no selling. I picked up this gem yesterday and I wanted to share it with everyone. Pretty dang cool being able to thumb through something that is almost 60 years old.

Fun fact... In 1956 Bozeman's population was 14,000. And now MSU's population is 14,000....

Hope you enjoy.

That's pretty sweet! Our visitors from Arkansas might even be interested in that considering where the game was played and all of the stuff in the beginning of that program regarding the state and everything.

I am currently discovering new uses for reynolds wrap, smoking a cig, and drinking an ice cold coca-cola..

Very cool to look at. I happened to notice St. Joes coach was Bob Jauron. With a little internet sleuthing, I found out he is the father of Dick Jauron, the former Chicago Bear and Buffalo Bills coach.
