Game Times?

Are we nearing the time of the summer when we learn the times of kickoff for all our home games? Mainly...when will we know if Gold Rush will be a night game or not?!

Just trying to plan around some things and was curious when we'd be privy to that info.

Still nothing official yet from MSU on home game start times - we seem to always be last to report game times. MSU website lists all as TBA. Yet, game times for road games have all been posted on opponents sites or other sources such as ESPN etc.:

CSUS - 6 pm PT
UCD - 4 pm PT
Poly - 4 pm PT
Griz - noon per article in Missoulian today

Why does it take so long - a lot of folks are probably thinking about plans for the home game slate and can't solidify them.

SO when will MSU "officially" post game times - here it is, the day single-game tickets go on sale and MSU website has all game times as TBA. Most game times are set for road games per other sites and sources, why can't we post at least what we know as of now? I am unable to buy extra single-game tickets until I know for sure what the home game times are.

That's unacceptable. I've been told the times are set weeks ago. Not sure why they aren't listed. I called 994-CATS and they didn't know when the times would be released. C'mon!!

Completely agree, it seems to me that athletics is sliding back into its old habits. They are not getting information out. No mention anywhere yet of Family Fun Day either. I hope this is not they way things are going to run this year.

Drew would have had as much information out as soon as he had it. I don't know who replaced him, but they are not starting off real great.

Last I heard the delays were 100% because of the TV schedule/rights were still up in the air. First world problems...

That may be the case for some of the games - but I'm seeing advertising 'Cat games on SWX so they must know when those are. Understandable that some of the times might be up in the air, but put the ones that are locked in on the schedule and leave the TBA on the ones that aren't sure.

She's now director of marketing at Northern Colorado. That is why there is a job opening with a description in the link above and probably why the website hasn't been updated. Seriously if your in a hurry to get tickets and need game times. I would go with what was announced by Cowles and ROOT.

BOZEMAN, Mont. -- Single-game tickets for Montana State’s 2014 home football games are available for purchase, MSU Director of Athletics Peter Fields said Thursday.

Tickets are available through the Bobcat Athletic Ticket Office by following this link or by calling 406/994-CATS. Tickets remain for each of the Bobcats’ seven games, including the annual season-opening Gold Rush game on September 6 against Black Hills State (7 pm), the matchup against second-ranked Eastern Washington (Sept. 20, 1 pm), and the Homecoming tilt Sept. 27 against North Dakota (2 pm).

The Bobcats also host Central Arkansas in the Wendy’s Bobcat Athletics Hall of Fame Game (Sept. 13, 3:35 pm) and Portland State (Ag Appreciation Weekend, Nov. '8). A pair of charter Big Sky members visit Bobcat Stadium as well, when Weber State (Family and Parents Weekend, Oct. 18, 3:35 pm), and Idaho State (Senior Day and Military Appreciation Day, Nov. 15).

Single-game tickets cost $22 or $23 for end zone seats, $40 to $55 for sideline tickets. Mini-packages also remain in the Blue Plan (Central Arkansas, Weber State and Idaho State) and Gold Plan (Eastern Washington, Weber State and Portland State) for only $$ per ticket. The Bobcats drew 19,704 fans per home game in 2013, among the top five teams national in three different FCS attendance categories.

(*...I'm checking on times for ISU and PSU, but I assume they haven't been set. You probably need to call the ticket office to get the price for the Blue and Gold plans.)

All times listed I believe are local times. The only Bobcat game times not listed on the BSC website are ISU on Nov 15th and um on Nov 22nd. There are NO game times listed on the msubobcats.com site at http://msubobcats.com/schedule.aspx?path=football" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

I find it bewildering that the BSC can post MSU game times sooner than the Bobcat Athletic Department.
