30 - Trevor Bolton: the junior holds down the kickoff duties and is the roll punt specialist pinning the opponent inside the 20 12 times on just 17 punts and 20 of his 31 career punts have resulted in the opponent starting inside the 20. He'll compete for the FG and XP duties this fall with Luke Daly and Trevin Thompson.

(4) - Shawn Johnson: enters his senior season as one of the most dynamic players in the Big Sky. He'll likely be the No. 1 RB and handle a bulk of the punt and kickoff returns. One of the fastest and strongest (pound-for-pound) players on the team and in the league. Also one of the top RBs in the BSC at breaking out the backfield and into passing lanes.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Definitely excited to watch Shawn John this season! Last year I believe he came up like 5 yards short of the Bobcat record for all-purpose yards in a season. This year I am betting he breaks the bobcat season record along with the Career All purpose yards record.

So I assume Shawn 'Gone' Johnson is cleared for fall camp (academics)? I remember in the Spring he may have been questionable for this year? If I got my info crossed then I apologize but I thought I remember hearing that?

29 - Brandon Davis: transferred to MSU from Louisiana Tech, where he ran for 112 yards on 21 carries as a frosh, in 2013. Explosive runner, who missed most of the season with an injury, but had 58 yards on nine carries and a TD. A good fit in Cramsey's offense.

(3) - Bryson Keeton: key arrival at cornerback, who got a lot of attention during the spring and is the favorite to start opposite Deonte Flowers. He had gotten considerable playing time at Nevada in his two years there playing in 16 games and recording 38 tackles and three pass breakups last season. Regardless of how his career turns out, he'll always have the distinction of being the first college player to intercept a Jameis Winston pass.

28 - Kellen Kollmorgen: the redshirt frosh will be looking to move up the deep depth chart at safety and possibly get some special teams time. Cousin of No. Iowa starting QB Sawyer Kollmorgen.

(2) - Jake Bleskin: is in a heated battle for the starting QB spot. A gifted three-sport athlete out of high school, he brings experience and knowledge to the position. Possesses a strong, accurate arm and completed 56 of 87 (64.4) passes for 690 yards and 6 TDs over less than a 3-game (Mesa, SFA, UND) stretch last season. Has also improved at running the ball.

(2) - Na'a Moeakiola: the two-year senior captain is coming back from a shoulder injury that sidelined him in 2013. He's likely the biggest addition to the lineup bringing leadership and a high-level of playing ability to the MLB spot as the teams fastest LB. Came in four years ago around 200 pounds, but has added about 25 pounds to his frame.

27 - Gunnar Brekke: should see vastly increased playing time due to his skill set and the offensive philosophy. Has had a great off-season on the field and in the weight room adding strength to his excellent speed and great vision.

(1) - Garrett Marino: the long road from high school to college is still not completely traveled for this talented DE. Rated as high as 4-star by one recruiting site, the sky's the limit if he can get everything in order.

And with that, this countdown thread is over. 26 through 1 can be found in the first post on page 1. I'll have to find something else to do in the meantime. I'm sure reports from camp will be much more interesting than this. Debate with RustonCAT, Badlands and 09Griz? Oh boy.

Thanks Tom -this really helped move things along through the summer months. Aside from the regulars, and expected contested positions, one of the thing that I liked was getting a few tidbits on some of the walk-ons that are out there in information limbo most of the time.

Fantastic Tom.

Nice reading a multi-page thread that hadn't devolved into some pissy argument.

You da man!

I would also like to thank you. I actually cant wait to get to work in the morning and read what you have to say. They only problem is the rest of the day is a let down. I thought you were very smart until I read your week 13 prediction #-o #-o #-o . I guess we will call it love hate until the middle of the season when you switch. All and all though and all kidding aside that was a great service and unlike the school you ran through them them all. THANK YOU =D^ =D^ =D^ =D^ =D^

Nice work Tom. I'd have done it myself but I'm far too lazy. Thanks
