Beau Sandland will be in the '15 class. That should be considered a very good start.

Coach Ione was at the skyview vs kalispell game friday night. Skyview has some good sized athletes.

Faith people. Our coaches are very good at this. Lack of information is likely tactical.

Bo Beck and Mike Rider were at the CMR-Glacier game on Friday.

I know they were getting a closer look at WR Logan Jones and LB Josh Hill.

CMR RB Andrew Grinde and WR Karl Tucker are each Rustlers who got some attention too, I'm sure.

Jones is probably a half-ride guy. He reminds me a lot of Sean Foley, the kid from Whitefish who signed with Montana last year. He's undersized, but he's super fast and he can play in the backfield or the slot. Hill is small too (6-0, 215), but he's got good instincts and plays with a high motor. He's on every special teams for the Wolfpack, so you know he's a tough kid considering how physical he plays.

From the Skyview-Flathead game, I know Tre'von Dixon-Strong from Skyview will be getting Division I looks. He plays in a triple option offense, so that will hinder him. But he's the son of new Billings Wolves head coach Chris Dixon, who was a standout at Humboldt State.

Remember Ben Folsom of Dillon will be in this class as he will return from his Mormon mission.

What position were we looking at for him again? Wasn't it WR?

From what I remember, he played QB and SF in high school and we were looking at him as an Athlete. Here is the recruiting day write-up on him from MSU athletics.
06.Ben Folsom, ATH -- 6-2, 198, Fr, Jackson, MT (Beaverhead County)
Player Notes: First Team All-State and All-Conference quarterback at Beaverhead County HS, completing 64% of his passes for 2,273
yards and 23 touchdowns... also logged 194 tackles and seven interceptions in his career... a Great Falls Tribune Superstate choice,
earning invitations to the Mon-Dak and Montana Shrine all-star games... played on Beaverhead's 2011 football and 2012 basketball
state championship teams.
From MSU Coach Rob Ash: "The ability to play a lot of different positions is something we value, and Ben fits that description. He
is planning to take his church mission starting next fall so we have a couple of years before we have to find the best spot for him,
but we're excited to sign a player with his ability. His brother Monte will finish his mission in time to join us next fall."

Well recruiting may seem a little slow, but the coaches are still out there.

I'll go on record and say we don't get that guy. He looks very fast, nice routes, catches well and has some serious moves.

I'd love for him to be a bobcat, maybe we should send him a picture of what he would look like in a throwback jersey!

I hope we are after Andrew Grinde from CMR. Just having seen highlights, he is pretty dang good and only a junior. Big and fast. I'm guessing the receiver (I think he plays receiver) Carl Tucker II is also pretty good. Any of you Great Falls guys want to back me up or straighten me out on that?
