Best player in the Big Sky in 2014 is ...

Post by TomCat88 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 4:36 pm

Cooper Kupp - EWU
Vernon Adams - EWU
Tevin McDonald - EWU
Deonte Flowers - MSU
Alex Singleton - MSU
Jordan Johnson - UM
Ellis Henderson - UM
Zack Wagenmann - UM
Gabe Manzanares - UCD
Garrett Safron - SSU
DeAndre Carter - SSU
James Cowser - SUU
I would've put Browning on there, but he's on a mission.

I like Kupp, Adams and Manzanares. On defense I like Cowser.

Some good QBs in the league. Not that impressed with Wagenmann. Maybe the bar has been set a little high at that position around here. 8)

Right now I'd say Adams.

Wasn't he 2nd in the Payton voting last year?

Cooper Kupp and I am not sure it is even close.

Adams puts up good numbers, but he has a REALLY good WR corps and Kupp is the best of the bunch.

I think Roderick could be a Kupp-esque-type player. =P~ I really do. Roughly the same size, same speed, tons of athletic ability. Both can jump.

One has an already legendary work ethic and they have to literally kick him out of the facility he watches so much film. One does not.

What about Hamlin for EWU coming back for his 6th year he was granted?

Whoa, I didn't expect this thread to be going down this road. But... ...

So is Roderick some kind of rebel?

which one is which?
When Kupp won the Frosh of the Year Award (or whatever it's called) Baldwin talked about his "... great work ethic for video study..." and when he was put on the Watch List he said "...he has consistent work ethic." A sportscaster for KIMA-TV said Kupp has "...a work ethic beyond belief."

So it sounds like Kupp with the legendary work ethic.

I'm confused, you say Roderick doesn't watch enough film to be a great player, even though he played receiver last year and is practicing at QB this spring, right? He was hurt over half the year last year. So how does him watching film last year, while he was hurt make him a better player this year? Give him a chance, let him prove himself first, he has more talent than any of the posters on this board will ever dream of.

I believe kupp is great, however, i don't believe in trashing a kid for mistakes. There is more to life than football and for some to judge on football work ethic is cowardly. Let Roderick make his own decisions~ good or bad. I didn't realize players had to answer to a message board? Some of you guys are pathetic....bobcat players, coaches, and games are your life....maybe get a real life.

So are you trying to say that if anybody puts negative points in their posts they are cowardly. I do think that many times speculation leads to negative posts, but isn't that the nature of these boards? I actually think that your post is the only one on this thread that is over the top.
