Conner Firstman Memorial/Scholarship Information

Post by msusportsinfo » Wed Mar 05, 2014 2:13 pm

Hello Bobcat Nation,

I apologize for a bit of silence from our end but this loss has been tremendously difficult for all of us. I was Conner's direct supervisor within Athletics and have spent much of the last five days with his family and his best friend Nathaniel Wilson.

Below is service information including both his hometown of Portland, Ore. and here in Bozeman. We will have more details in regards to the Bozeman Celebration in the coming days. In addition, we have already begun the establishment of the Conner Firstman FLC Scholarship.

Saturday, March 15 - 1 pm
Cedar Mill Bible Church
Portland, Ore

Saturday, April 26
MSU
Bozeman, Mont.
Details to follow

Conner Firstman Film Like a Champion Scholarship

Please send the donations to
MSUAF
PO Box 172750
Bozeman, MT 59715

Make the check out to MSUAF and mark on memo ~ Conner Firstman Film Like a Champion Scholarship

You can also give on line to https://securelb.imodules.com/s/1584/in ... 2&cid=1112" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Once on the page, Click on Other (please describe in the Additional gift instructions box below)
And state the gift is for Conner Firstman Film Like a Champion Scholarship

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me directly at leslie.masterpaul@msubobcats.com or call 994.5349.

We cannot thank BN enough for all the kind words. Conner was one fantastic kid and his legacy as a Bobcat will be with each and every one of us, every single day.

I just donated $100. I challenge all BN members to match or exceed.

Prior to making the donation it’s worth checking out whether your employer will match such a donation. Many employers have education matching gift programs.

Do we have a time and a venue for this yet?

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

The last I heard, it's the afternoon of April 26 at Bobcat Stadium. I'll confirm and get a specific time.
