From Coulter's write-up, his quotes sounded like he wanted to go to Fresno the whole time, but didn't think they would offer so he went with MSU. I was thinking as I read it that I thought he seemed quite likely to make the move if Fresno ended up having money left for him.
Was thinking the same. At least he went to a FBS school, and one with a decent track record at that, and not a FCS school. Seems like when we do lose someone they go FBS, which wasn't the case a few years ago.

Yeah, it's hard for any FCS school compete with a legit FBS program like that ... especially one that is that much closer to home for the recruit.

Until MSU moves up to at least the MWC, we have to expect to lose most of those battles.

Wow, I would think that a board admin guy would get the guy's name right that he is paying.

My bad on the spelling. It happens quite often with me.

I'm not paying him, though. At least, no more than anyone else who subscribes to his work.

It's just fun to serve humble pie to others. It really doesn't taste that bad, although I prefer pecan. \:D/

Damn I though Pott's tape looked great. Fluid, size, speed. Could've played a few different positions here.

I have a hard time criticizing Potts or any other guy in his situation. It has to be tough, making a decision whether to accept an offer you have on the table or hold out for another, knowing that the current offer you have could be pulled at any time if the school finds someone else. Best of luck to him at Fresno, I'm sure our coaches have another guy ready to go to take his spot.

I agree and I was bummed to see he chose Fresno St. He would have been a major get for us. However, how many highly touted recruits have we had that absolutely flamed out? Just trying to put a positive spin on it I guess

Two days to go. I think the coaches are done contacting potential recruits until signing day due to the rules. Sounds like we might have 1-2 additions to the list come Wednesday morning. Hopefully everyone listed sticks.

UPDATED with Marino. Not sure if he's HS or transfer. He didn't enroll so should have five to play four, uhh, like he's gonna need five. He'll probably play right away.

He has five to play four. He'll only need four. Mark it down. Guarantee it.
