I watched some highlight vids of Hutchins. Man, that kid was all over the field. He played TE, MLB, OLB, Hand down DE, and even nose tackle one play. I guess that's what is meant by "versatile"

The thing that keeps sticking out in my mind is something that Ash said last year on signing day.........the caliber of recuits that we are going after had other great offers but choose to come here instead. So far the commits this year have had offers from the upper level ie UNLV, Kansas, Texas A&M just to name a few, this just shows what type of quality of program Ash has continued to develop in his short time here.

Interest is different than an offer. I don't think we beat out Texas a&m or Kansas on anyone.

Why so negative? They were still looked at by bigger programs and in the past some of those recruits would go to the bigger programs. Now we are turning into an elite program at this level and are getting higher rated players. Yes time will tell if they turn into great players but when you start with better talent your more likely to get more out of that talent.

Not being negative just accurate. U said they had offers....I don't think they did. No biggie, just the truth.

Agreed, and I might add that it seems GSG has turned over a new leaf. Hopefully he continues on this path because over time he will find his presence here more welcome .

Shaping up to be a very impressive class. Seems to be just as high quality as the last couple years. Did anyone see any recruits at last night's hoop game?

Thanks for posting.
Another good Oline prospect. I like the way he reach blocks, and his foot work. Needs to get off the ball a little bit quicker, and his hand placement (he opens up and shows chest a little too much on his run blocks). But definitely has a lot of potential. What I really like is his finish. He finishes his blocks very well. He's relentless and aggressive. Once he's on you, he's not letting you go. How an olineman finishes usually is reflective of his attitude. In this case, he's got the right attitude to do what it takes to play very well. I hope that we can sign him. Great job coaches in finding him and getting him to visit. Let's close the deal.

Looks like the cats have offered some type of scholership to a JC kicker.
