Kempt is BETTER!
...than WSU's qb. That guy was AWEFUL! Reminded me of a Tyler Thomas/Dusty Broderick combo...
It will be interesting to see if our secondary has the same kind of success against a team like NAU.

I could've sworn that Jason Gesser (who himself was a damn good QB at Wazzu) while announcing the game started saying McGhee would be WSU's starting QB, but backed off the comment a bit saying something to the effect "this kid could start ..... well at most FBS schools."
funny stuff
Remember, our 2nd QB started at a Pac-10 school.

Re: Kempt is BETTER!
Our quarterback is very special, he played great just like lulay played his freshman year. I was at the game and if it wasn't for two questionable play calls by the coaching staff we win the game in pullman. As far as I am concerned we had a huge victory on saturday, we absolutely dominated the football game. We just had two turnovers that hurt us, not to mention cunningham doesn't miss extra points or field goals.
If your left, you aren’t right.

Re: Kempt is BETTER!
I listened to Jason on the TV rebroadcast and cut him some slack because he was one of the toughest little sob's I ever saw in football cleats. Except that one time when Adam Coderio (sp?) almost ruptured his spleen. Anyway, when he was making comments like, "how did the FBS miss him?" in reference to McGee, and "How'd he slip though the recruiting cracks?" in reference to Bignell and a few other comments like that it pizzed me off a little bit. I felt like saying "the WSU qb recruit will be lucky to win 10 games in his career. Mcgee will be playing four years for a conference championship, likely be playing in the playoffs all four years, and who knows, be playing for an NC." Maybe this is a statement of why moving to somewhere like the WAC might not be a good idea.

The FBS didn't miss him. He just wants to play for an NC and he thinks he can get that done here! Will Holden wrote:And seemingly more than anything for McGhee, who had an offer to continue his education and play football at the prestigious Air Force Academy, championships are what it's all about.
"I wanted an opportunity to do big things," McGhee said. "That's why I came to Montana State. I wanted to win a national championship. And this was the only place that was giving me an opportunity to do that."

Just being a stickler for the details it was Kacey Hart/Dusty Broderick combo. Tyler Thomas took the ship down all by himself.Viva Los Gatos wrote:...than WSU's qb. That guy was AWEFUL! Reminded me of a Tyler Thomas/Dusty Broderick combo...

Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

I'm well aware. I wasn't implying TT and Dusty played together. It was kind of like saying Coachouert's voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus. Even though I've never heard a Fergie/Jesus duet, I feel comfortable saying that's what the Coach's voice would sound like.badasscat wrote:Just being a stickler for the details it was Kacey Hart/Dusty Broderick combo. Re: Kempt is BETTER!
Ahhh I see, now that I have reread it makes sense. Did get me thinking though, in the time between Rob Compson and Travis Lulay we had 4 different starting QB's (Broderick, Harte, Ahzimi, and Thomas) and only 8 wins. Glad to be out of the dark days of Bobcat Football.Viva Los Gatos wrote:I'm well aware. I wasn't implying TT and Dusty played together. Re: Kempt is BETTER!
Got my blood boiling there for a second
I'm too lazy to read everything on here, but did anybody else notice the HUGE difference in our O when McGhee was in compared to Kempt??? I know that mostly the 2's were in with Kempt, but the whole way that Offense carried itself with the 2 QB's was night and day... I think we have a keeper in #9!!
