Something to talk about over the bye week
I agree with CCC re the need for multiple uni s
Get a home and away uni an go with them. Along with cost why deter for one second the players concentration on assignments for the up coming game. At a time when we are being told its difficult for players to make defensive scheme changes because of the complexity of the same seems counter productive to have them thinking about all the different uni s.

Re: Something to talk about over the bye week
I'm not necessarily a fan of having a whole bunch of alternate unis, but I seriously doubt that it affects the players' concentration or focus in the slightest. If it does, then I'd say we have bigger problems than just too many uniforms.77matcat wrote:I agree with CCC re the need for multiple uni s

Love them or hate them, social media blew up with excitement yesterday over the whites. From a marketing and recruiting standpoint, the unis are a great addition. Personally, I love em.

I said the same thing in another thread and no one said anything. It seems to have worked out pretty well for Oregon. If uniforms affect our concentration then we have bigger issues.John K wrote:I'm not necessarily a fan of having a whole bunch of alternate unis, but I seriously doubt that it affects the players' concentration or focus in the slightest. Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Here is every uniform thread ever:
I LOVE THEM!!!
I HATE THEM!!!
meh.....
Tradition or nothing!
All white (or black) is sick!
School colors only. No black.
Kids love 'em, great for recruiting
Too many uniforms, you don't want kids that come for the uniforms
Alabama doesn't need alternative uniforms
Oregon ruined football
I know I missed a few....![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Re: Something to talk about over the bye week
The season is really, really long and draining. I don't think it is a distraction, but rather a nice little morale booster for the guys, especially the younger ones not playing. Its ok to break up the grind a bit an give the guys a few extra things to be excited about. Most of these kids are a lot more focused than most of us.CatBlitz wrote:I said the same thing in another thread and no one said anything. It seems to have worked out pretty well for Oregon. Not sure if this is what your thinking is, but I'm generally not for uniform colors that are not (our traditional school colors) Blue & Gold (although I do think the white makes a good looking uniform.Triple C wrote:Why do I need to give it a rest?
