Give it a rest.
Why do I need to give it a rest? I don't like them. Uniforms don't get me giddy like some of you. I prefer the product playing on the field, rather than a new, non traditional uniform style.

sorry that you can't handle a dissenting opinion
Maybe you can say it without sounding like a tool. "reminds me of a surrender flag" doesn't really come off as something that would go over well to anyone.
By golly...these are the awesomest uniforms in the entire universe! They're sick, phat, dope, bad, tight...
There... now I conform with the rest of society. I hope they make the team throw up some ridic stats and a W.

Sincerely,
The Tool

Something to talk about over the bye week

Post by 77matcat » Fri Oct 31, 2014 8:23 am

I agree with CCC re the need for multiple uni s

Get a home and away uni an go with them. Along with cost why deter for one second the players concentration on assignments for the up coming game. At a time when we are being told its difficult for players to make defensive scheme changes because of the complexity of the same seems counter productive to have them thinking about all the different uni s.

I'm not necessarily a fan of having a whole bunch of alternate unis, but I seriously doubt that it affects the players' concentration or focus in the slightest. If it does, then I'd say we have bigger problems than just too many uniforms.

Love them or hate them, social media blew up with excitement yesterday over the whites. From a marketing and recruiting standpoint, the unis are a great addition. Personally, I love em.

I said the same thing in another thread and no one said anything. It seems to have worked out pretty well for Oregon. If uniforms affect our concentration then we have bigger issues.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Here is every uniform thread ever:

I LOVE THEM!!!
I HATE THEM!!!
meh.....
Tradition or nothing!
All white (or black) is sick!
School colors only. No black.
Kids love 'em, great for recruiting
Too many uniforms, you don't want kids that come for the uniforms
Alabama doesn't need alternative uniforms
Oregon ruined football

I know I missed a few....

The season is really, really long and draining. I don't think it is a distraction, but rather a nice little morale booster for the guys, especially the younger ones not playing. Its ok to break up the grind a bit an give the guys a few extra things to be excited about. Most of these kids are a lot more focused than most of us.

Not sure if this is what your thinking is, but I'm generally not for uniform colors that are not (our traditional school colors) Blue & Gold (although I do think the white makes a good looking uniform.

Ya. Hope your right. Just saying. Why add any additional things to think about.
