Re: Injury status
Mark Estes appeared to reinjure his hamstring on kick coverage in the 2nd quarter and was driven back to the Fieldhouse right at the end of the half. I have been high on this kid and felt he was poised for a breakout game.

Re: Injury status
He had his arm In a sling on the sidelines, that's all I know for certain. Could be a collar bone.duelalumnicat wrote: βSun Sep 22, 2019 8:58 pmI heard that Willie Paterson has a broken collar bone? Can anyone confirm this? I am sorry that he has now been inured two years ina row.

Re: Injury status
Agreed. We sure could use Filer back.
I thought Thomas (#2) had a rough game vs Norfolk. He got beat on 2 deep balls that got completed, while he was in man coverage - which is Filer's strength.

Anybody heard anything about Zambrano. He left the game with his arm drooping.

Re: Injury status
I wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. He seems to always be right there to make the tackle so I wonder if he's expecting help. I hope with Filer back he won't have to cover the #1 receiver on teams every week, I think he's a great corner but when you're giving up 6-10 inches to these guys.HelenaCat95 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:09 amAgreed. Re: Injury status
It looked like man to me, but I obviously don't know the coverage call - maybe he was supposed to have help over the top, and there was a mixup on the back end.technoCat wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amI wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. Re: Injury status
It was a run fake, couldn't see on the TV really but I suspect that the safety bit a little too hard on the run and couldn't get back in time which left Thomas on an islandHelenaCat95 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:37 amIt looked like man to me, but I obviously don't know the coverage call - maybe he was supposed to have help over the top, and there was a mixup on the back end.technoCat wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amI wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. On the second deep ball Thomas bit HARD on a stop and go by the WR.cats2506 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:55 amIt was a run fake, couldn't see on the TV really but I suspect that the safety bit a little too hard on the run and couldn't get back in time which left Thomas on an islandHelenaCat95 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:37 amIt looked like man to me, but I obviously don't know the coverage call - maybe he was supposed to have help over the top, and there was a mixup on the back end.technoCat wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amI wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. Right but that is where you have to know the coverage. If he's supposed to have help over the top, then he can jump those short routes.BleedingBLue wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 11:04 amOn the second deep ball Thomas bit HARD on a stop and go by the WR.cats2506 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:55 amIt was a run fake, couldn't see on the TV really but I suspect that the safety bit a little too hard on the run and couldn't get back in time which left Thomas on an islandHelenaCat95 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:37 amIt looked like man to me, but I obviously don't know the coverage call - maybe he was supposed to have help over the top, and there was a mixup on the back end.technoCat wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amI wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. Re: Injury status
I just listened to Cat Chat, and Choate says that on the first deep ball it was a mistake by the Post Safety. So it looks like you guys were right in that it was probably Man-free, and Thomas was expecting help over the top.cats2506 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:55 amIt was a run fake, couldn't see on the TV really but I suspect that the safety bit a little too hard on the run and couldn't get back in time which left Thomas on an islandHelenaCat95 wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:37 amIt looked like man to me, but I obviously don't know the coverage call - maybe he was supposed to have help over the top, and there was a mixup on the back end.technoCat wrote: βMon Sep 23, 2019 10:35 amI wonder if Thomas was supposed to have help over the top. I noticed that as well. Also, speaking of cat chat. it sounds like try has been practicing this week and should be good to go for Saturday.HelenaCat95 wrote: βThu Sep 26, 2019 10:31 amI just listened to Cat Chat, and Choate says that on the first deep ball it was a mistake by the Post Safety.
