Sorry, CatBlitz, but...
Associated Press, January 31, 2016:
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA says its board of governors has voted to extend the contract of President Mark Emmert three years, through October 2020.

I saw that. Not a fun way to round out the first month of 2016...
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I'd take all 3 vs. having Emmert at the helm until 2020.

Fullerton was the main guy I attribute the downfall of the Bobcat football program to in the late eighties and nineties. Some very poor decisions were made by this guy. I will forever remember the extension he gave Solmenson after four miserable losing years. When asked about re-uping a guy with such a poor record, Fullerton responded to the effect that it was about more than wins and loses. That kind of sums up his leadership and where the program was headed under him. The following year Earl was sacked and promptly trashed the university on his way out the door. I guess it wasn't about character either. Thanks for the memories Dougie.
