Line coaches
MSU has a long history of some pretty good line coaches....Jim Sweeney, Sonny Holland, Mike Kramer, Cliff Hysell ........ Jason McEndoo. Anxious to see who the next one is.

Re: Line coaches
That we have had. I know of a guy up in the Great Falls area who would be great, but drama would be too much for the university to handle I am sure. Too bad as sometimes people just don't get second chances. I will be curious to see who Ash brings in to fill in the spot.

Re: Line coaches
I think I know where you are going with this one. I would love to see him back on the sidelines at MSU. Look at all the players that MSU has given a second chance..........GrizgradCatFan wrote:That we have had. Meth dealers don't get second chances at a once in a lifetime opportunity. Especially in the area where they were dealing meth...

I suppose I'm politically incorrect but, I druggies don't actually rehab. They either hide it real good or just keep it dormant for a while.

Not sure why we're rehashing this. Aren't we looking for an Oline coach? Didn't obrien coach Dline? Is there a reason to debate this further?

I think all above who said no should look in there closet and make sure not to throw stone in glass houses. Look at all our players who have screwed up and given a chance. Pathetic.

Just looking at his coaching resume. There are zero reasons for him to even be considered as the O-Line coach.GrizgradCatFan wrote:I think all above who said no should look in there closet and make sure not to throw stone in glass houses. Weird, I don't recall using, dealing, or distributing meth. Also, just as weird, I don't recall EVER conducting a felonious act.GrizgradCatFan wrote:I think all above who said no should look in there closet and make sure not to throw stone in glass houses. Perhaps you sir, think of felonious acts as a right of passage, but for the greater good of society, I prefer we remain a country governed by the rule of law.
The notion that a person is to be considered pathetic for adhering to the rule of law, I say is ignorant blather.

I sleep just fine at night having said "no". He's "had a chance", and as you said "screwed up." Again, hell no.GrizgradCatFan wrote:I think all above who said no should look in there closet and make sure not to throw stone in glass houses. Okay Mr. Engish Professor what about Mr. Knight or Mr. Bignell then and their acts against the law? Were either of their charges just ignorant blather!
End of discussion and go to bed like the fake kittiecop.

People can be stupid or careless and get a misdemeanor. A felony requires much more effort.
I agree with LTCF, you're spewing ignorant blather.

Robbing a guy at gun point isn't a felony? Do some research and since you like to spew ignorant blather before doing research here you go. If you need more on the other let me know. http://blogs.rgj.com/packblog/2013/06/1 ... y-assault/Rich K wrote:Were those actions felonious?GrizgradCatFan wrote:LongTimeCatFan wrote:Weird, I don't recall using, dealing, or distributing meth. Re: Line coaches
Dealing meth is whole different level in my opinion than what Knight or Bignell did (don't even remember what he did). Didn't Knights charges get dropped? If another school wants to take a chance on him, great. I personally wouldn't have a problem with him coming back to coach, because he is a great coach. However, the publicity would be an absolute nightmare that I don't think MSU wants any part of. I think it would be a great story if he came back and became a success, but the negative pub would just be too much unfortunately.GrizgradCatFan wrote:LongTimeCatFan wrote:Weird, I don't recall using, dealing, or distributing meth.
