2014 BSC Season Predictions: Week 10

Post by TomCat88 » Mon Jul 21, 2014 3:58 pm

Week 10 has another pair of games that will go a long way to determining a BSC champion. Sacramento State and Montana State both need to go on the road to face Montana and Cal Poly, respectively.

North Dakota at Eastern Washington: The Eagles continue to cruise behind their spectacular offense. EWU 45, UND 17.

Northern Colorado at UC Davis: A week off and a home game against the Bears is just what the doctor ordered for the Aggies. UCD 28, UNC 17.

Sacramento State at Montana: SSU ended a long skid against the Griz in 2011 with a resounding win at home and then backed it up in 2012 with another win this time in Missoula, but UM stole one in OT last year to slow down the Hornets. UM 31, SSU 28.

Idaho State at Portland State: The Vikings continue their winning ways and stay in the thick of the league race. PSU 42, ISU 31.

Montana State at Cal Poly: The Bobcats were kicked around by the Mustangs a lot in the late 90s and early 00s. They fall again. Poly 31, MSU 27.

Northern Arizona at Weber State: The Lumberjacks take one on the road against the struggling Wildcats. NAU 31, WSU 13.

BSC Standings:
.....Conf...All
EWU 6-0, 9-1
UM 5-0, 7-2
PSU 5-1, 6-3
MSU 4-1, 7-2
Poly 4-2, 6-3
SAC 3-2, 6-3
SUU 2-2, 3-6
NAU 2-3, 5-4
ISU 1-4, 3-6
UCD 1-4, 2-6
UND 0-5, 1-8
UNC 0-5, 1-8
WSU 0-5, 0-9

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Good catch. For that reason I will pick the Hornets to beat the Griz this year in Missoula. 35-20.

So. Utah played UM that year. They handed the Griz a whoopin like a lot of teams did.

Oops, forgot to do this last week. Guess I'm stuck with my picks from the summer. I went 4-2. I probably would've switched the two I lost and the MSU game and went 5-1. Oh well. Didn't miss the Poly-MSU score by much. Got UM's and and ISU's totals right.
