MSU/UM All Star Team
I thought it would be interesting to put together an all star team of MSU and UM players from this season. Here is what I think:
QB--McGhee MSU
RB--Kirk MSU
WR--Akpla MSU
WR--Bleskin MSU
WR--Gilbert MSU
OL--Terrien MSU
OL--Burbank MSU
OL--Sampson MSU
OL--Dennehy MSU
OL--Davis MSU
TE--Robison MSU
DL--Minter MSU
DL--Keli'i MSU
DE--Laidet MSU
DE--Schreibeis MSU
LB--Owens MSU
LB--Bignell MSU
LB--Moeakiola MSU
CB--Jones MSU
CB--Gords MSU
FS--Fuller MSU
SS--Bethley MSU
PK--Cunningham MSU
P--Perez MSU
Key Backups:
DE--Daly MSU
DL--Logan MSU
LB--Grosulak MSU
CB--Flowers MSU
WR--Ellis MSU
RB--Robinson MSU
OL--Tauanuu MSU
OL--Memory MSU
CB--Johnson UM
Upon further review I just don't think they have a single player that would see the field for us. Tru Johnson maybe if several others are injured. Many of their players could play for a lot of teams in the country including Tennessee, but I just don't see it here.

I think you'd have to throw Brody McKnight in as a backup. After all, he did boot a school record 6 FG this past week.
Retiring my moniker. It's time to ride off into the sunset. It's been a fun ride. Go Cats.

Perez should be taken off the list, we don't use him anymore.

Just call it MSU All Star Team.
We could use Turdmaine...to carry jock straps, give him street cred (credit for those, who don't know) for the Laundry Room in Deer Lodge.

I believe you are forgetting the most valuable player of all the Phlugrad, he is 0 fer against the cats. He does do a nice job of keeping his players out of jail, suspensions etc.
Live life to the fullest, unless you are a griz, then don't live at all.

Awesome! I was getting ready to open this thread thinking 'how could a Cat claim that any griz would see the field for MSU....especially the week before the brawl."
Well done sir.

Re: MSU/UM All Star Team
Love the premise of this post and Bobcat team.
I take a shot at it with a few Griz players..
QB - McGhee
RB - Kirk
TE - Greg Hardy UM - really like his athleticism for his size.
OT - Leo Davis
OG - Stephen Memory - what a nice surprise once he got healthy
C - Alex Terrien - Alex is good where ever he lines up but really shines at Center.Sampson has been a beast at center for us
OG - Kistler UM - sounds like he is really starting to clear some space for RB
OT - Conrad Burbank
WR - Akpla
WR - Bleskin
WR - Sambrano UM (Gilbert can lineup as legit RB though)
DE - Schreibeiss - He has been a beast
DT - Minter
DT - Waldhauser UM - don't know if he is good but he gets a lot of publicity
DE - Alt UM (My perception of him is that he is more athletic than Laidet...but Laidet is just a rock at the DE position)
WLB - Jody Owens - One of best all around LB in conference
MLB - Clay Bignell - emotional leader every team needs
SLB - Caleb McSurdy - UM fast and hits hard
CB - Trumaine Johnson - UM on the field this guy can do it all and gets interceptions
CB - Darius Jones - Roots may get more interceptions but Jones is rock solid in coverage and assignments
SS - Fuller
FS - Bethley (both teams are struggling a little at this position for a star player, but I like our players a lot more than theirs)
Kicker - Cunningham
Punter Perez
7 out of 24 spots...that all I could think of that might crack MSU's starting lineup... and three of those I am not so sure about.

Re: MSU/UM All Star Team
So when our guys piss pound UM, we'll get to hear for the next year "____________ will be playing on Sundays."
UM is the university equivalent of Axe Body Spray and essential oils.
