Alliance of American Football? First time I've heard of it but there is a familiar name down in round 3:

Watched the Salt Lake - Arizona game last weekend. It was fairly entertaining and the play was much like watching college. No TV timeouts really helped the flow of the game. Not many odd rules - I can live without kickoffs and kicked PATs. No joy for Dennis Erickson in his inaugural game and McQueary is no longer on the Arizona roster.

I watched the Salt lake vs Birmingham game yesterday, I liked it. they're definitely just getting started with most starters not set yet, but it was entertaining. I think this will be a good thing for football in general, and the kids who never got their shot. I hope it expands, there's lots of good football players out there.

Caught some of the Orlando San Antonio game on Sunday. Recognized a few names, saw some FCS guys, too. I hope it sticks around, like it way better than the nfl.

And it looks as if they closed down earlier this month and have filed for bankruptcy...
