I have watched both Butte and Senior play.

I would say Senior by 3 touchdowns.

Butte was called for one penalty last weekend in Billings...watch the number of penalties called on Senior in Butte...Silver B's Night is darn tough to win for an opposing team for a whole lot of reasons.
The correct answer would have been 14! Sounds like Senior shot themselves in the foot over and over again, but 14 including 4 straight plays they were whistled for a flag while they were inside the one yard line! Butte Pride!

Wow. I did not see that coming. I guess that is why they play the games. Anything can happen from week to week.

Looks like the game of the week will be:

Helena Capital (5-0) at Billings West (4-1)

Yep. It would be fun to see Capital's stout D go up against West's high powered O.

Senior has a good team and they tried to run it more than previous year's with Newell and #9 why not but the penalties and turnovers. Overall the Butte defense played good though then their offensive line has played well and they've gotten enough offense to win some games.

The new stadium is going to prove to be a tough place to win as the kids really fed off the crowd and the fans are close enough to read the opposing coach's playsheet.

Try to follow all the AA but living in Butte...dont really know until they play them, other than Bozeman which the news covers alot.
They will be back and contenders next year and still remain a dangerous team.

So look forward to the rest of the season.

CMR has played pretty well the last 2 weeks. Gotten healthier, moved some guys around and gotten some young guys some good game experience. Will have a big test this week against Helena HIgh.
Helena High looks a little more vulnerable than I thought having to beat GRH with a score in the last minure and only beating Skyview by 7.

Yes, Helena High seems sloppier. I went to the GFH game on Friday, very sloppy tackling and sloppy QB play. Also looked like Simac was playing hurt. Might have been a shoulder, as he was favoring one arm everytime he got up off the ground.

CMR has a hard schedual the next two weeks. Helena and then west.

Games of the week:
West vs Senior.. It looks like west has the edge but you never know in this cross town rival. Senior has shown they can play.

Helena HIgh vs CMR... Helena needs to play better than the last two weeks or CMR will get the upset.

CMR staqrting to play better. I think they have a good chance to steal one from Helena High or West. Helena High is beat up and West is on the road. One win out of the 2 and CMR should be in the playoffs where anything can happen. Losts of young kids getting experience.

CMR beat Big Sky and GFH beat Flathead. I know CMR finishes with Flathead and Great Falls High. CMR can lose to West and if they beat Flathead and Great Falls High they will be in the playoffs at 5-5

Not really any super great games this week.

Looks like the one of most interest will be: CPACAT vs Stevo up in GF.

See you friday night. :D

I think Capital vs. Butte High may be a little closer than expected. Capital should still pull out the win (I predict by 10), but i wouldn't mind seeing a little separation put between the Bengals (8-0) and the Bruins. This IS the year of the CAT!

Retiring my moniker. It's time to ride off into the sunset. It's been a fun ride. Go Cats.

I hope you're right about HHS. I'm always hopeful but never hold my breath, as they seem to fade in the playoffs...
But getting Erickson and Calder back healthy this week will be a huge boost to the O-line.

Glacier has only played one game agains anyone over 500, and they lost. I think Glacier is not as good as their record shows. I guess we will see.

Glacier beat CMR on a touchdown with 9 seconds left to win the game. They converted 3 4th downs on the last drive including the winning score. CMR had a missed interception and 2 penalties on the final drive to keep Glacier moving. CMR also turned ball over several times on drives where they were moving the ball.

At 7-1 Glacier is obviously good, but I think that Capital beats them by 20. I think Capitals defense shuts down Glaciers offense.
