Congrats!
Is "Outlaws" the name of Roy's teams or did both schools choose that name when they merged?

Yeah Roy is the Pirates and Winifred is the Red Raiders. Outlaws is the combined name and the only sport that isn't combined this year is Boys Basketball. Next year all sports will be combined.

It was a pretty frigid place to be (the wind was nasty), but the game was excellent (and the crowd was impressive, especially considering the rough weather). Winifred really dominated the game on both sides of the ball and really took Denton completely out of their game. Winning three road games in a row to win the state title is really the hard route to go, but they pulled it off in very impressive fashion.

And now basketball practice starts on Monday for those guys ... not much downtime to recharge the batteries, but coming off of one championship should be some good momentum to leverage from.

Thanks. I knew Winifred, but I didn't know what Roy's teams were called. Pretty impressive win by Winifred!
