Semis

Post by nanacat » Fri Dec 15, 2023 8:25 am

Any chance at all that UAlbany will be giant killers? Ya I doubt it too. SDSU will roll tonight.

As far as tomorrow, I've seen both the bison favored and the gris favored by the analysts, but neither by much. Guessing it will be tight like our game, but either team is capable of getting momentum and rolling. Also wish there was a way for them to both lose. But I'm with many posters on this forum that refuse to root for the gris. Montana players aside, between the head coach and their fans I truly hope they get steam rolled, at home, on national television.

I hope the Jacks roll right into Frisco and beat the Bison. I think the Jacks will handle Albany pretty easily. Really really really hoping that the gris dont make it to Frisco. But, if they do we need SDSU to be the team they are playing.

SDSU will roll against Albany and also in Frisco against whoever wins the other semi.

Pretty sure UM can't hang with NDSU, even in that rowdy stadium. They will get exposed tomorrow. If they do win, it will be due to turnovers, ST points, etc. If they do escape WAGRIZ with the W, there is very little chance they can compete with SDSU. These are just my humble opinions of course.

I actually think they'll beat NDSU, its going to be close but home field will do it for them, i agree with your second part though, SDSU will destroy them.

Reminds me of when W&M came to bozo last year and got boatraced.

Yep, SDSU will win this one going away. If by chance UAlb should come back I will just come back and delete my post,

NDSU corners and safeties won't play 7/8 yds off the line of scrimmage and backup on the snap. Linebackers are a little faster than Cats and will be more aggressive getting pressure on gris qb. Last game after he was pressured in 3rd 1/4 he struggled.

I believe it will be a comfortable win for the Bison.

Could be, we'll see. I actually don't think the game will be that close. Close at half time, NDSU pulls away in second half and wins comfortably.

SDSU 34-10 -24.5. Well, they’ve pretty well taken care of that.

NDSU 20-17 -3.5. NDSU is given a 58% chance of winning a pretty close game.

Yep, good call. I missed this one. It was perplexing to see the NDSU receivers with the dropsies, and that stud QB missing wide open receivers for TD's. I guess he was hurt or something.

It's not like we didn't have a lot of the same problems this year too.

It was the ST points again.
