Some Big FCS Matchups Week 10

No. 7 Sacramento State at No. 4 Montana
Tough game for the griz. They're at home so its certainly winnable but Sac is no easy out. A Sac win would help the Cats for next week's poll but since we still play um, the winner here probably doesn't matter to us, other than having to continue listening to griz fans thumping their chest if they win and continuing to yell at pollsters for some mis-perceived lack of respect.

No. 2 Furman at No. 14 Chattanooga
It would really really really help the Cats if Furman lost this one. We should be huge Chatty fans this week.

No. 11 North Dakota State at No. 1 South Dakota State
Not sure sdsu will lose any games but ndsu has plenty of talent regardless of having lost 2 games. The bison could really get off the schnide with a victory here. Imagine what the polls would look like if ndsu actually pulled this off... Idaho or Furman #1??? wow.
EDIT: it might be best for MSU if Sdsu wins this one. If ndsu were to win it, its possible they could pop above MSU since both would have 2 FCS losses but ndsu would have head-to-head over sdsu who beat us.

No. 9 South Dakota at No. 10 Southern Illinois
This one doesn't affect us but the loser of this one will likely be out of the seed discussion.
EDIT: as Catbot pointed out below, its probably best for MSU if USD lost this one so that they get a 2nd FCS loss.

Thanks for the breakdown. I'll just add that we should actually want/need SIU to beat the Yotes. It could be very helpful during selection Sunday for USD having two FCS losses.
