Maybe this will deflate the hard-on Colter and the rest of the Skyline cronies seem to have for UM. I’m generally a fan of what he’s doing, but this season I’ve been getting sick of the constant gushing over a very mediocre griz program and their POS coach.
I've had the opinion that they were vastly overrated, but not this overrated. Horrible, pukey loss on homecoming. Lucky for them they missed EWU this year, methinks.

With the pressure PSU's DL was able to bring......I think our DL should be able to be in their backfield consistently and bring pressure along with containing Sneed (if he's still the QB). GO CATS!

Welcome home Bobbi! This was the worst jizz loss in decades.

So I tried explaining to this board back in 2016 (under a different user name) after we upset the jizz in missoula that the jizz's glory days were over for good. There wasn't a ton of support for that position back then, but I think there will be after today ... and you can trace the fall of the jizz empire back to the soul-crushing defeat the Bobcats dealt them back in 2016 in Choate's first year.

Today is great day for America. The Kav was confirmed as a SCOTUS while Bobbi Hack lost his homecoming game to the worst team in the conference.

His overall record might not be impressive, but he’s won more big games than any other coach in the conference.

Football is a funny game huh, how week-to-week it really is. They're flying pretty high, expecting to show up on homecoming in the "mecca" and win by 40, barnums guys feed it to them. I just hate it when stuff like that happens... :suds:

I don't know what the hell is going on today. SDSU just beat Indiana State 54-51 in OT.

PSU is not that bad! Just watch the game against Idaho in Moscow. They should have won. They will make some noise this year!

You can't pencil in wins. BSC is a wild league in this regard. Idaho got demolished by ISU but they could come the Bozeman and play totally different, You have to be ready to play. UM looked totally distracted on offense. I don't know if the previous wins lulled them into believing they could just show up and get the same result. I thought they were a year or two out from being back into the top of the BSC. They go on the road and play UND next week.

That’s a really bad loss but I don’t expect the Griz to be down for long.

Makes that game next week at UND look much less like the easy win many thought.

Yesterday's game is a wake-up call for the Griz.....like many have said on this board, you can't take any team lightly....a few things go their way, and you find yourself in a dog fight.....

PSU always has a lot of talent....when they get a bit of confidence, they put together a strong game and can compete with anyone...

Nice win for the Viks....one of the biggest in program history.

Can anyone imagine what Missoula would have been like last night if coach Stitt was still there and they lost that game?
How many buildings would be trashed or burned, including of course said coaches house? I'm sure it wasn't pretty last night but that would have been almost apocalyptic.
I also wonder if there were more turnovers in the BSC yesterday than any other weekend ever.
This was maybe a good week to have a bye.
I hope this reaffirms to our team that on any given day any team can beat any other, and how important it is to take care of the ball.

PSU has had some really good teams in the past and several good coaches through the years such as Mouse Davis, Tim Walsh, Pokey Allen and Jerry Glanville. Glanville bombed there and so did another real work of art human whom I simply can't say his name. They were a decent team at the DII level and actually made the championship game a few times. I'd like to think if Portland wasn't such an armpit hole of a town they could do pretty well at the FCS level. Lots of talent in and around the school but they've obviously struggled maintaining sustained success. It's fascinating to me observing PSUs football program and how they can somehow put it all together for a game or two each year such as one of Cliff's teams who went to Portland and got beat badly 44-0. Dennis stopped his Seahawks postgame show and asked "What the hell happened to the Cats last night?" Strange school and fanbase.

I’ve been thinking that as well. But Bobby is the messiah over there; the savior. So many are convinced he’s just going to take any team, regardless of talent, and make them national contenders. You know, cause they’re the the griz and they won it all 20 years ago. And Bobby, and...they’re the griz.

Bobby is a good coach and he has all the resources he needs. No doubt he’ll get the griz contending for conference championships and playoff appearances in the years to come. But they’re just a very average team plain and simple. Simply bringing back the messiah and playing games in a loud cold stadium aren’t going to magically make them world beaters.
