Dickenson deserves it. He was amazing and the fact he is from Great Falls makes it that much better.

Not many BSC players in there. Seems like there should be a few more. Wild Bill Kelly is the only other Griz.

The only time I've ever sorta cheered for the Griz, were the years that Dickenson played for them. It was pretty hard to root against that guy. And Earle the Pearl didn't even recruit him, even though his parents are both MSU alums.Mr Lisle wrote:Dickenson deserves it. Re: List of entries for 2018 CFB Hall of Fame
I was surprised there aren’t more BSC when I first read that, but when I thought about it I couldn’t really think of very many players that had really outstanding careers. You basically need to really excel in college and then do something professionally to get in. I think getting Dickenson in probably required lots of lobbying.
I think Bill Kollar would get consideration. He was a great college player and a solid pro, who is a great position coach. Won MVP of the Senior Bowl, which was THE all-star game at the time. I think he stacks up well with Dave.

Must have to be out of college for quite a while. I read where Jared Allen won't be eligible for a couple of years. I would think he would be in there.

I tried to look at the list, the only list I could find was Wikipedia, which I could not sort. While trying to look up Kollar, I did see A bill Kelly from Montana. I have no idea who he is.

Kollar is an excellent candidate. He meets all the NFF requirements as far as I can tell. I’ll start looking into this.iaafan wrote:I was surprised there aren’t more BSC when I first read that, but when I thought about it I couldn’t really think of very many players that had really outstanding careers.
